Yes, you can add a vehicle based outside Ghana as long as the shipping costs included within the sale price of the vehicle you are selling and also that their is a point of contact based within Ghana who the prospective buyer can contact in person or by phone. Q2. How do I list my vehicle? A. To LIST your vehicle you need to REGISTER with us, then go to the "MY GCT ACCOUNT" and create a profile once you have saved your profile you then need to click on the "ADD A LISTING" link and fill in the relevant vehicle details. Q3. How much does it cost to submit a vehicle listing on www.ghanacartrader.com? A. We are currently offering free unlimited vehicle listings to car dealers and private sellers. Q4. What happens next once I submit a listing? A. Once you submit a listing it takes up to 24 hours before your listing is approved. In order to make sure your listing is approved it is important you provide a good and accurate description of the car. Q5. Why was my vehicle not published to the site? A. If your car was not published to the site within 24 hours, then it is because the description you have added is misleading or innacurate. In this instance we will contact you via email and specify reason why your vehicle was not published. Q6. How do I edit my listing? A. To EDIT your listing you need to be logged in and navigate to the "MY LISTINGS" button which can be found on either the "MY GCT ACCOUNT" menu or "GCT PANEL" menu. Once into the my listings area you need to navigate to the text saying "ACTION" and you will see the first option which is the "EDIT MY LISTINGS" and has an icon which looks like this . Once you click on this icon you can then begin to edit your listing. Q7. How do I delete my listing? A. To DELETE your listing you need to be logged in and navigate to the "MY LISTINGS" button which can be found on either the "MY GCT ACCOUNT" menu or "GCT PANEL" menu. Once into the my listings area you need to navigate to the text saying "ACTION" and you will see the third option which is the "DELETE LISTINGS" and has an icon which looks like this . Once you click on this icon you then go ahead and confirm the deletion of your listing. Q8. I cannot remember my password, how can I retrieve my password? A. Go to any page on the site and click on the LOST PASSWORD link and then input your username and password and click the send password button and your password will be sent to your registered email address within a few minutes. Q9. What should I do if I have submitted a vehicle and have now sold it? If you have sold your vehicle it is important that you delete your listing from the site to avoid unwanted calls and emails from prospective car buyers. Q10. How long will my listing last on the site? A. Currently vehicle listings will last until on the site until it is removed by the car seller. We will send you an notification email to remind you to "DELETE" your listing if the car is sold. In order to delete your listing you simply need to login into the My GCT Account area and locate the listing you would like to "DELETE" and click on the icon at which point the vehicle listing is immediately removed from the website. Q11. Why do my vehicle images distort when I click on them in the gallery view? A. It is important you upload original images of your vehicle which are of a good quality. Q12. Do I need to have a photos in order to post an advert? A: You can submit a listing without any photos. However studies show that online car buyers are generally more interested in an vehicle listing where there are 2 or more pictures to show the visual condition of the car they are viewing. So in light of this it is advised to attach good quality photos of your car to your vehicle listing. Q13. Why can't I recieve emails from GhanaCarTrader.com? A.
