Frequently Asked Questions Q1. Can I list vehicle(s) based outside Ghana? A. We do not accept vehicle listing(s) based outside of Ghana. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Q2. How do I list my vehicle(s)? A. Simply register with us and then login to the GhanaCarTrader.com to add your vehicle listing(s). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Q3. How much does it cost to submit my vehicle listing(s) on GhanaCarTrader.com? A. We are currently offering free introductory vehicle listing(s) to used car dealers and private sellers.

What happens next once I submit my vehicle listing(s)? A. Once you submit a vehicle listing it takes up to 24 hours before your vehicle listing(s) are vetted, approved and published. In order to make sure your listing are approved and published it is important you provide a good and accurate description of your vehicle(s).

Where do my vehicle listing(s) appear once successfully published? A. Your vehicle listing(s) will appear on GhanaCarTrader.Com and also in the GhanaWeb.com Used Cars Section which is being powered by GhanaCarTrader.com.

Why were my vehicle(s) listings not published to the site? A. If your vehicle(s) were not published to the site within 24 hours, then it is because the description you have added is misleading or inaccurate. In this instance we will contact you via email and specify reason why your vehicle(s) were not approved and published.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Q7. How do I edit my vehicle listing(s)? A. To Edit your vehicle listing(s) you need to be logged in and navigate to the My Listings button which can be found on the My GCT Account Area menu. Once into the my listings area you need to navigate to the text saying Action and you will see the first option which is the Edit My Listings and has an icon which looks like this:  . Once you click on this icon you can then begin to edit your vehicle listing(s). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Q8. How do I change my contact details ? A. To edit your contact details please simply login to GhanaCarTrader.com and then in the GCT Account Area click on My Contact Details. Once finished editing your contact details please simply press Save Changes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Q9. How do I remove my vehicle listing(s)? A. Simply login to your Account Area, navigate to the vehicle listing area and click on the Orange Trash Can ( ) to delete the relevant vehicle listing(s).

I cannot remember my password, how can I get a new password? A. To acquire a new password Click Here and then input your username and then click the send password button and your password will be sent to your registered email address within a few minutes.

How long will my vehicle listing(s) last on the site? A. Listings are discontinued after:- 60 days, and you will have a further 30 days during which you may renew your listing.

Why do my vehicle photos distort when I click on them in the listings view? A. It is important you upload original photos of your vehicle which are of a good quality. We recommend using a minimum of a 1/2 million mega pixel camera at least to achieve decent photos. It is essential to take original photos which are of a decent size.

Do I need to have vehicle photos in order to post an advert? A: You can submit vehicle listing(s) without any photos. However studies show that online car buyers are generally more interested in a vehicle listing where there are 2 or more pictures to show the visual condition of the car they are viewing. So in light of this it is advised to attach good quality photos to your vehicle listing(s).

We keep in touch with you via SMS Text Message and via E-Mail. Are car prices listed in New or Old Ghanaian Cedis? A. All car prices are listed in New Ghanaian Cedis.
