Introduction
The Suburban is Chevrolet’s full-size extended wheelbase SUV that was first introduced as the Chevrolet Suburban Carryall in 1935. The real predecessor to today's Suburban was introduced in 1973, a new design with four doors and available 9-passenger seating. The most recent generation Suburban debuted as a 2007 model in early 2006. All Chevrolet Suburbans come standard with the OnStar advanced communication system.

The 2011 Chevrolet Suburban offers available 20-inch chrome wheels, a trailering package that now includes an integrated trailer brake controller and three new exterior colors: Mocha Steel Metallic, Steel Green Metallic and Ice Blue Metallic.
